Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair would like to invite you to our birthday! On Sunday 15th May we celebrate our 7th birthday and just like vintage fashion, we only get better with age!
From day one of our fair, all our traders have been cherry picked to ensure we offer you the best quality and value in town and seven years on, that’s no different. Joining that list of excellent vintage traders for the first time at the fair, we have some new stalls to get excited about this May:
Sallie Ead is a well-respected name in vintage circles, and specialises in antique textiles, tribal fashion and early century pieces. As well as top condition menswear and womenswear, we’re excited to delve into the Heal’s fabrics she’ll be bringing with her.
Vintage Collective London brings a well-presented collection of womenswear that aligns with current trends. A particular love for patterns and prints make their rails stand out.
From Milan to LA, We Love Vintage scour the globe for the best vintage womenswear and accessories they can get their hands on and offer it at very reasonable prices.
Just Vintage Clothing has a wide range of womenswear and accessories from the 1950s and 1960s but expect to find everything from 1930’s beaded necklaces to 1980’s oversized jumpers, all sourced from a life-long love affair with vintage.
Split between London, Portugal and Sao Paulo, B Luxo Vintage has something special for boys and girls. For the gents, keep your eye out for utilitarian workwear and Victorian-era pieces, and ladies can browse through highly-fashionable garments from 1910 to the 1960s and 1970s.
Milliner Pip Hackett has long sourced vintage to inspire her designs which are sold in Harrods, Liberty and Harvey Nichols. Now she brings her collection of 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s dresses to the fair for you to find inspiration as well.
Vintage dealer, collector and jewellery designer, Sylke Joa joins us with 1940s mens and womens workwear, taxidermy and Pride and Prejudice, her SS 2016 collection of jewel art created out of unusual, reworked antique and vintage pieces sourced from all over the globe.
Remember the extravagant days of high end 80s and early 90s fashion? Adrianna joins us for 1 day only with an incredible ‘private collection’ of unworn 1980s and early 90s designer pieces such as Crolla, Alaia, Ozbek and Moschino gifted to her late sister, fashion editor of Vogue and Tatler in the 90s.
Last, but not least, Denise Liparoto, joins us with fabric, womenswear, handbags, luggage, shoes and jewellery. A particular eye for geometric jewellery and garments with a little drama to them (we’re eyeing up her Chinese silk jackets), you’re guaranteed to pick up an original find.
On hand to sing us Happy Birthday, cabaret songstress Miss Em will be entertaining shoppers in our tearoom while they put their feet up with some home-baked treats from Suzie’s Kitchen. Miss Em promises to transport you back to the charm and chutzpa of golden age stars such as Judy Garland, Lucille Ball and Rita Hayworth.
All we need now, is you! Book 2 for 1 tickets in advance here or pay £4 each on the door. We’re open from 11am until 5pm on 15th May at The Old Finsbury Town Hall, Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4RP.
Join our Facebook event for your chance to win £50 of vintage and see a preview of the beautiful fashion and textiles coming to the fair.
