Autumn Fair Preview

Autumn Fair Preview Sunday 20th October 11am-5pm £5 (£2 with NUS card)

There’s finally a chill in the air so join us and our fine roster of traders for your autumn wardrobe edit at Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair this Sunday! We’re full to the rafters with some of the very best traders who will be unwrapping their finest collections of knitwear, coats, capes, frocks and accessories from all your favourite eras so you can wrap up in style this autumn.

Over 50 traders will fill the stunning Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden with original, authentic vintage and pre-loved designer pieces many of which nail autumn/winter 19’s top trends but for those of you that have frequented our fairs over the years you will already know that our ethos is anything goes. Vintage doesn’t follow fashion but inspires today’s fashion so wear whatever makes you feel good, whatever the style or the era. Individuality is the biggest definer of British style and the beauty of vintage is that you can create your own look with pieces that no else will be wearing and without costing the earth.

Many of you will be returning to some of your favourite traders this Sunday such as Lady Jane’s Vintage Bandwagon, London Vintage, The Antique and Vintage Wardrobe, Cloud Cuckoo Land, ChichiRaRa Vintage, Pigsty 71, Maycottage Prints and Crystal Vintage who will have put pieces aside for you knowing your style preferences but do check out some of our returning traders and NEW traders too! First up on our roster is Beth Swarbrick; ex stylist, collector and founder of The Park Vintage based in Brighton. Beth has a penchant for the 70s & 80s but she’ll be mixing it up with styles from 1940s this Sunday too. If your lost for inspiration this will be a great place to start with a well curated stand offering womenswear and accessories for the style savvy!

Next up on our roster of traders is Ilknur of Rock My Vintage Dress. Stylist formerly based in Turkey with a gorgeous ‘by appointment only’ boutique. Ilknur debuts at CVFF this Sunday with incredible collectible pieces. Beautiful antique and vintage womenswear and accessories from 1900s through to 1950s to include pre-loved designer labels such as Dior and Hartnell as well as traditional ethnic costume. Lot’s of wonderful pieces with great provenance to buy and to hire.

Delve into the eclectic world of Krausz Jewellery on Sunday: we welcome jewellery designer and vintage jewellery collector Michelle Krausz. Her designs are made from pre-loved costume jewellery reworked into more contemporary pieces as well as a range of beautiful bridal headbands styled from intricate pieces of antique and vintage pre-loved jewels. Well worth adding to your list of go-see stands for accessories to compliment your outfits for special occasions.

We’re delighted to welcome back Levison’s to our family of traders at this Sunday’s fair. Michael Levison has  been trading for 25 years specializing in rare vintage menswear for the discerning gentlemen. His stand will be full to the raftas with pieces exclusive to our fair from separates to suits, military pieces and accessories dating from 1940s through to the 1960s. So bring you beau. They’ll be some real style steals on this stand on Sunday.

Looking for vintage menswear and reworked vintage pieces for men? 1st up on our roster of NEW menswear traders for our autumn fair is Herbie Mensah Vintage. Herbie modelled for many designers in the 80s such as Galliano, Body Map, Krolla, John Richmond and became a muse to Vivienne Westwood. His career as a model helped develop his passion for fashion which led him to selling vintage at Portobello Market from the late 90s as well as designing & customizing garments. Browse Herbie’s well curated stand of vintage and upcycled menswear on 20th October. We love his patchwork jackets and hand bleached suits.

It’s all bling! Kristina Devere returns with high end pre-loved designer and retro/vintage jewellery at affordable prices! From YSL cuffs to Cartier white gold love bracelets and a medley of Chanel. It will be a feast for the eyes on Sunday 20th October. 1st dibbs at 11am

London-based vintage fashion dealer with a passion for antique clothing and textiles. Turner Vintage joins us on Sunday with exactly that. A favourite among the design teams from international fashion houses looking for inspiration for next seasons collections. Shani will be offering unusual antique and vintage pieces from 1900s through to the 70s with labels such as Biba in the mix.

Spoilt for choice? Hope & Harlequin, Dot and Doll, Chota Bazaar and Ooh La La Vintage all return to our autumn fair this weekend with some Stella pieces too.
