Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair returns to Covent Garden with a Weekend Special on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th September 2021 at the stunning Freemasons Hall. Shop over 50 of the very best dealers in vintage fashion, accessories, trimmings and textiles. Shop for vintage from the 1900s onwards alongside pre-loved designer labels from Biba, Ossie Clark and Dior to YSL, Chanel and more at London’s leading vintage fair.

A favourite amongst fashion designers, stylists, costume departments and celebrities. The fair is one of the best spots to shop for vintage in the UK with regular traders and NEW traders adding to the eclectic mix of styles on the rails each day so why not purchase a Weekend Special ticket so you don’t miss out.

Visit our on-the-spot alterations team to ensure your purchases fit like a glove or bring your old wardrobe to be revamped into something more current.

NEW! There will be food and refreshments served all day in Freemasons Hall cafe and bar so you can take a well-earned rest with your friends between browsing.

Freemasons Hall is conveniently located just 5 mins from Holborn tube station and approx 8 mins from Covent Garden tube station. There is ample free parking in the surrounding area on Sunday’s and an NCP car park in Parker Mews or parking meters on Saturday.

March Madness! Spring is here which means it’s time to clear out our closets, Mothering Sunday is coming up and our advance tickets are selling like hot cakes. So round up your friends to top up your wardrobe at Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair at Freemasons Hall this weekend!

If you missed our February fair, you missed out on AMAZING one-off vintage and designer labels at affordable prices. Design houses, film wardrobe, stylists, celebrities, journalists and bloggers came together with the capital’s vintage lovers scoring pieces from the Victorian era right through to the 1990s street wear and couture. Designer labels included Dior, Chanel, Ossie Clark, Biba, Burberry and more, with plenty of fresh stock arriving for March in time for a mid season wardrobe overhaul.

Expect to find womenswear, menswear, accessories, textiles and trimmings with prices starting at £5 to over £100 there will be something for everyone!

A few new names join our roster of cherry-picked, quality traders serving you womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles. First up on our list is Emma Caderni with antique and vintage womenswear, accessories, textiles and jewellery. With a penchant for prints, embroidery and unusual antique and costume jewellery. 60’s & 70’s styles and prints. This will be her first fair with us at Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden so look out for her collection.

Gail Kingsman has been trading for over 20 years on the festival circuit as well as fairs further afield offering womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles dating from Victorian era through to 1970’s. We welcome Gail to our family of traders adding to the eclectic mix of styles spanning decades of fashion.

Looking for quality menswear from 1950’s – 1970’s? Little Venice Vintage return to our fair this Sunday from Margate with American apparel, US, Swiss & Austrian Military pieces alongside cool tee’s. A favourite among the boys and design teams looking for details. Well worth checking out Dave Hill’s stand for rare vintage for the discerning gentlemen. He’ll have lot’s of small sizes for the girls too. Alongside him is A Loose Arrangement with pieces for the tomboys from cool tailoring to Americana, Military pieces and designer labels. Expect to find unusual details, fixings and prints.

Shoeporium UK returns from Leicester with 100’s of deadstock shoes and bags dating from 1970s-1990s. Expect to find labels such as Charles Jourdin, Bally, Bruno Magli, Kurt Geiger, Renata and Rodo to name but a few. All in mint condition waiting to be paired with the perfect outfit from this Sunday’s fair. Walk this way!

Herbie Mensah Vintage
returns to our March fair with some exciting new menswear pieces, upcycled selection and his usual array of top spec men’s vintage. Whether you’re looking for oversized overcoats, knitwear, 80’s & 90’s designer labels, street wear or Military pieces Herbie will have you and your beaus wardrobe sorted.

Last but not least on our list of returning traders is Fuji Kimono with a beautiful collection of antique and vintage kimonos, haori, obi, textiles and collectibles. Fuji’s stand was mobbed at our last fair with men and women adding bold prints, textures and a contemporary twist with otherwise traditional pieces.

After our Christmas break we’re back with our 1st fair of the decade on Sunday 2nd February. The Vintage Collections is our much celebrated biannual fair 2 weeks ahead of London Fashion Week at Freemasons’ Hall, in Covent Garden. We’ll have some of the best designer vintage labels and styles spanning over 100 years of fashion that inspire contemporary collections.

Whether you’re on the hunt for new-season inspiration, sourcing one-off pieces for your next photo shoot or need a fresh wardrobe update our 50+ traders will have you sorted from head to toe with sensational vintage fashion, accessories and trimmings. Our traders have years of combined experience and knowledge from product development for major fashion houses, costume design for theatre, film and television, as well as styling for fashion editorial, music videos and celebrities.

Regular customers to our fairs will no doubt have their list of favourite regular traders picked out for a vintage shopping spree at The Vintage Collections. Spoon Vintage join us for our 1st fair of the year all the way from Paris. Founder and buyer Manon will have a well curated stand showcasing antique and vintage womenswear from 1920s through to 1980s with an eye for detail, unusual pattern cutting and asymmetric design. This stand will be mobbed!

Lauren Spanjar Hewitt aka The House Down join our family of traders for the 1st time with womenswear and menswear spanning over 100 years. Lauren is a favourite among design teams and stylists looking for unusual one-off pieces for fashion shoots or to reinterpret into pieces for today’s catwalks. Prints, denim, accessories and dresses galore. A great fashion resource.

Annoushka Bryant founder of Jilted Gems has been trading for over 10 years at some of the best antique and jewellery fairs in the country. Annoushka will be showcasing some beautiful fine and costume jewellery she has collected over the years at our fair dating from the late 1800s through to 1990s. Expect to find Georgian, Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, 1950s and Designer vintage jewellery along with some accessories on her stand at The Vintage Collections. A lovely addition to our jewellery and accessories dealers.

Alma Lata Paris joins us with designer Nigel Preston’s huge archive of antique and vintage womenswear collected for over 30 years for inspiration for their collections. We’re delighted these pieces are finally being unleashed from their studio in France to be given a new lease of life at our fair. Whether you’re a stylist, vintage collector or designer there will be something for everyone to draw from on this stand before they head off to NY Fashion Week to showcase their next collection.

EvelynJean Vintage rock up for their debut at our much loved show with pretty pre-loved vintage womenswear and accessories. Tamzin focuses on ready to wear womenswear from 1950s Horrockses floral print dresses to Welsh tapestry capes, 70s maxi dresses and 80’s designer pieces with great price points.

We’re feeling festive! It’s our last fair of the year this Sunday 24th November just 4 weeks before Christmas! It will be your last chance to pick up sensational dresses for the party season and gather all your winter wardrobe essentials from under one roof. With such a great selection for him and for her, we hope you’ll find that something special that you won’t find on the high street. Shop local and shop vintage this Christmas to stand out from the crowd and for a gift that has authenticity and meaning…

With over 50 of the very best cherry-picked traders they’ll be a great selection of antique and vintage fashion, accessories and textiles for you to browse and tick off your Christmas shopping list.

New to our fair is Black Pearl Vintage London specializing in antique and vintage womenswear. Julia will be bringing lot’s of fabulous winter coats, capes and jackets from 1900s through to 1970s this Sunday alongside some gorgeous 1930’s dresses.

Naomi Leigh of Vintage Bedazzle returns this Sunday from her buying trip in LA with LOT’S of jewelicious costume jewellery as well as antique clothing and Victorian capelets too.

Bag the bag! HDO Vintage are back with PLENTY of antique and vintage bags in all shapes and sizes for all style preferences. The perfect accessory to finish off this season’s outfits.

Atelier Vintage London will have frocks and jumpsuits to turn heads 360 degrees on NYE like this fabulous Jean Varon number as well as deadstock shoes from the 60s & 70s.

Need a winter coat? The Catherine Collection will be bringing you everything from 1960s bespoke capes to faux fur 70 coats, tweeds and 90’s Burberry macs. All in immaculate condition!

Vintage and ‘upcycled vintage’ menswear is all the rage right now and Herbie Mensah Vintage does it so well. He’ll have fresh stock from his buying trip in NY for the vintage aficionados as well as new pieces from his much loved collection of reworked vintage. Suits, separates, overcoats and jackets.

Just adding accessories to your outfit can dress it up. These fab Chanel clip on earrings will definitely do just that and more. Check out at Charm Vintage for quirky unlabeled as well as known designer jewellery brands. The perfect stand to pick up some gifts too!

It’s getting cold out there and this 70’s luxe gilet from House of Provenance will be among stylist Frank Akinsete’s collection. Perfect over a maxi dress this season and he’ll have plenty of those too.

Audra’s Brooches who were recently featured in Vogue, will have plenty to spruce up your winter coats from 1930’s bakerlite to 50’s diamonte and huge 1980’s Butler & Wilson jaguars. Add some sparkle to your frocks too with these fabulous 70’s disco belts.

Gigi’s Dressing Room are for the 1st time unleashing some of the dresses that were only for hire to include this rare 70’s Frank Usher. The sleeves, the cut, the fabric! This is one of his earlier couture pieces coming on Sunday…

Autumn Fair Preview

There’s finally a chill in the air so join us and our fine roster of traders for your autumn wardrobe edit at Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair this Sunday! We’re full to the rafters with some of the very best traders who will be unwrapping their finest collections of knitwear, coats, capes, frocks and accessories from all your favourite eras so you can wrap up in style this autumn.

Over 50 traders will fill the stunning Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden with original, authentic vintage and pre-loved designer pieces many of which nail autumn/winter 19’s top trends but for those of you that have frequented our fairs over the years you will already know that our ethos is anything goes. Vintage doesn’t follow fashion but inspires today’s fashion so wear whatever makes you feel good, whatever the style or the era. Individuality is the biggest definer of British style and the beauty of vintage is that you can create your own look with pieces that no else will be wearing and without costing the earth.

Many of you will be returning to some of your favourite traders this Sunday such as Lady Jane’s Vintage Bandwagon, London Vintage, The Antique and Vintage Wardrobe, Cloud Cuckoo Land, ChichiRaRa Vintage, Pigsty 71, Maycottage Prints and Crystal Vintage who will have put pieces aside for you knowing your style preferences but do check out some of our returning traders and NEW traders too! First up on our roster is Beth Swarbrick; ex stylist, collector and founder of The Park Vintage based in Brighton. Beth has a penchant for the 70s & 80s but she’ll be mixing it up with styles from 1940s this Sunday too. If your lost for inspiration this will be a great place to start with a well curated stand offering womenswear and accessories for the style savvy!

Next up on our roster of traders is Ilknur of Rock My Vintage Dress. Stylist formerly based in Turkey with a gorgeous ‘by appointment only’ boutique. Ilknur debuts at CVFF this Sunday with incredible collectible pieces. Beautiful antique and vintage womenswear and accessories from 1900s through to 1950s to include pre-loved designer labels such as Dior and Hartnell as well as traditional ethnic costume. Lot’s of wonderful pieces with great provenance to buy and to hire.

Delve into the eclectic world of Krausz Jewellery on Sunday: we welcome jewellery designer and vintage jewellery collector Michelle Krausz. Her designs are made from pre-loved costume jewellery reworked into more contemporary pieces as well as a range of beautiful bridal headbands styled from intricate pieces of antique and vintage pre-loved jewels. Well worth adding to your list of go-see stands for accessories to compliment your outfits for special occasions.

We’re delighted to welcome back Levison’s to our family of traders at this Sunday’s fair. Michael Levison has  been trading for 25 years specializing in rare vintage menswear for the discerning gentlemen. His stand will be full to the raftas with pieces exclusive to our fair from separates to suits, military pieces and accessories dating from 1940s through to the 1960s. So bring you beau. They’ll be some real style steals on this stand on Sunday.

Looking for vintage menswear and reworked vintage pieces for men? 1st up on our roster of NEW menswear traders for our autumn fair is Herbie Mensah Vintage. Herbie modelled for many designers in the 80s such as Galliano, Body Map, Krolla, John Richmond and became a muse to Vivienne Westwood. His career as a model helped develop his passion for fashion which led him to selling vintage at Portobello Market from the late 90s as well as designing & customizing garments. Browse Herbie’s well curated stand of vintage and upcycled menswear on 20th October. We love his patchwork jackets and hand bleached suits.

It’s all bling! Kristina Devere returns with high end pre-loved designer and retro/vintage jewellery at affordable prices! From YSL cuffs to Cartier white gold love bracelets and a medley of Chanel. It will be a feast for the eyes on Sunday 20th October. 1st dibbs at 11am

London-based vintage fashion dealer with a passion for antique clothing and textiles. Turner Vintage joins us on Sunday with exactly that. A favourite among the design teams from international fashion houses looking for inspiration for next seasons collections. Shani will be offering unusual antique and vintage pieces from 1900s through to the 70s with labels such as Biba in the mix.

Spoilt for choice? Hope & Harlequin, Dot and Doll, Chota Bazaar and Ooh La La Vintage all return to our autumn fair this weekend with some Stella pieces too.

The Vintage Collections – Fair Preview

The shadows are getting longer and it’s time to start thinking about a wardrobe change. We return to Freemasons Hall this Sunday 8th September with The Vintage Collections – our 1st fair of the new season just 1 week ahead of London Fashion Week. With over 50 of the very best vintage traders you won’t be spoilt for choice. There will be styles spanning from over 100 years of fashion, many of which inspire the catwalks today.

We know you will have your favourite traders marked down on your go-to list such as Crystal Vintage, Lady Janes Vintage Bandwagon, June Nevin, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Retrouve Vintage, Vintwear, Pigsty 71, Maycottage Prints, Chichirara Vintage and Luxe Vintage London many of which have been with us since the very beginning but do check out some of our new and returning traders too starting with Oliver Vintage who specialises in womenswear and accessories from the 20s & 30s with an eye for exquisite detail. Oliver will be bringing some of his rare early 20th century finds as well as some eveningwear from the 1970s.

Next up on our roster of returning traders is Shelley Jukes founder of Atelier Archive Vintage with a well curated, fashion influenced collection of beautiful vintage clothing and accessories hailing from the 1920s through to 1970s

New to our family of traders this month is Simon Harrison UK with fine and costume jewellery dating back to their collections from the 1980s. We love this gold acorn leaf necklace designed for a Vivienne Westwood catwalk show.

This stunning 1940s dress with it’s beautiful autumnal print will be making it’s debut on Aubourg Vintage stand this Sunday among many more to include some Biba dresses too which regularly frequent our fairs and Layla’s rails.

We’re delighted to welcome Shoeporium to our fair for the very 1st time. Andrea will be bringing a high quality range of vintage shoes and bags with a hint of spice to include this fabulous black satin box bag with a wide handle and metal. A girl just can’t ever have enough!

Next up on our list of new traders is Amanda Bhatia aka Dottie Annies Vintage with stunning antique jewellery from the Regency period through to fantastic American vintage and costume jewellery hailing from 1940s-1980s. Amanda has been trading for many years and featured in an article on our fair in this weeks issue of the Antique Trade Gazette. This stunning Trifari set will be among her collection this Sunday. 1st dibs at 11am

This 1940s haute couture oyster dress by Marcel of Knightsbridge will be gracing the stand of collector and dealer Julie Moss who also joins our family of traders this Sunday for the very 1st time. It’s style and shape speaks of many eras including today and very Vivienne Westwood with it’s sexy feminine shaping. Julie will have plenty of other styles from different eras as well some beautiful accessories to include original Christian Dior hats representing 3 very different styles.

This delightfully Deco 1930s wool coat with fur pockets can be found on RSVP Vintage stand who joins us for the 1st time this Sunday too. Rachel Diamond is a collector and dealer in vintage deadstock from as early as the 30s through to the 1990s. Expect to find fashion forward styles from unknown brands as well as labels such as Dior, Louis Ferraud, Mary Quant and Gabicci. A favourite among the stylists and design teams.

This rare 1930s flame dress will be heading to our fair with the lovely Madame E Vintage who’s stalling out for the 1st time with Trendlistr with lot’s of beautiful pieces from as early as 1900s through to 1940s all exclusive to our fair this Sunday. We think this will be a winning combo we their design eye’s hauling in antique and vintage finds together for our style savvy shoppers and design teams.

Lest not forget the boys! Paulo Portobello returns with French & American workwear, Dutch fisherman’s shirts, WW2 military pieces, 80s & 90s designer labels such as Yohji Yamamoto, Vivienne Westwood and Comme des Garcon alongside some awesome American apparel like this 1970’s Rodeo leather jacket with fabulous stitching details ripe for reinvention.

Stunningly silky soft ivory 1970s changsan. Similar style to a cheongsam but a jacket rather than a dress or top. Paired with black jeans and chunky retro shades, its the perfect transitional top layer which is just light enough. Available from Trendlistr

What better way to take shade from the sun than under a silk vintage parasol? This beauty can be found on  The Antique and Vintage Wardrobe stand who source unusual and highly covetable true vintage and antique clothing. It’s in great condition for it’s age with tassels and a pom pom!

Joining them on their stand again are The Old Watch Company with antique and vintage mens and womens watches like this extremely rare Omega Geneve. A lovely retro style with automatic date, stainless steal and clean blue dial with white hands from the late 60’s along with brands such as Bulova, Garrard, Rolex’s and many more…

London Vintage return from their recent buying trip in France with lot’s of womenswear and accessories to include this fabulous 1960s vinyl bag with a matching purse that has been featured in this months issue of The Covent Gardener Magazine. 1st dibbs on Sunday at 11am

Joining our fine roster of traders is Fat Faced Cat Shop with menswear & womenswear dating from 1900s-1990s. Angela Zdero has a great eye for design led pieces that really speak of there era. This bold chunky knit 1980s jumper will among her rails.

One of our much loved traders and stylist Rebecca Sweeting is back with antique and vintage apparel dating from as early as 1900s with a penchant for fine embroidery, organza and bodices. A favourite among design teams, film and theatre wardrobe.

If all of that isn’t enough to whet your appetite for our 1st fair of the new season don’t trip out but Nick Reed Film Posters is also back after a long summer break with 1960s vintage poster art from the US Esoteric Poster Company.

Cheri Moore Vintage and Trudie French are also joining our traders this month with womenswear and accessories from 1940s to the 1970s.

Don’t forget it’s #secondhandseptember so no ‘new’ clothes this month but antique, vintage and pre-loved only and there will lot’s to choose from this Sunday with prices starting from £5 to over £100! Slinky Drawers will be on hand to revamp your existing wardrobes with her on-the-spot alterations as well as making sure your vintage garments fit like a glove.

Summer Fair Preview Celebrating 10 Years!

We really hope to see you this Sunday 12th May at our Summer Fair celebrating ’10 years’ of bringing you the best vintage under one roof! Get ready to peruse over 50 exhibitors stands in the stunning Freemasons’ Hall offering some of the best antique & vintage fashion, accessories and textiles hailing from 1900s-1990s.

This Sunday is our final fair before closing shop until September so vintage fashionistas this is your last chance to get your ideal vintage summer wardrobe. We have returning traders, many of which have been with us since the very beginning proving that the demand for fabulous clothes from decades past is here to stay as well as new traders with the latest additions to your wardrobes.

Shop one-of-a-kind styles from some of the best traders in pre-loved womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles from all over the globe to top up your holiday wardrobes. With over 50 traders to choose from and prices starting from £5 to over £100 there will be something for everyone!

Our regular traders who are always a favourite with our loyal shoppers will be getting into the summer spirit. London Vintage will be bringing plenty of novelty print dresses, French Nicoise hats and 1950’s bombshell summer bathing suits. Gisela Barrington has summer styles for both women and children, while Paulo Portobello and The Market Cartel will have the gentlemen sorted with workwear, denim, tour jackets, lot’s of American apparel and boaters. May Cottage Prints has style inspiration covered with their early century collection of chiffon print dresses, intricate beading and separates, all perfect for wafting around Porlock Festival to the sounds of Jazz and those summer garden parties with a cocktail in hand. Viva Vintage Jewels will have your outfits complete with stunning 20th century costume jewellery to really turn heads by the pool. The Antique and Vintage Wardrobe has plenty in the way of dreamy 1930’s dresses and statement hats and hair pins to bring a sense of occasion to any outfit. Luxe Vintage London bring their highly sort after 80’s & 90’s designer accessories to include some limited edition pieces by Chanel, YSL, Lanvin and Dior… Lady Janes Vintage Bandwagon will have the ultimate boho festival wear from labels such as Biba, Janice Wainwright and Ossie Clark. Chichirara Vintage brings a whole myriad of 70s, 80s and early 90s designer pieces from Anna Belinda to Betty Jackson, Kenzo and Comme des Garcons as well as unusual brands with a focus on design and print. If you’ve got a love for labels, especially 70’s ones then you’ll love Crystal Vintage UK collection of designer pieces from labels such as Jean Muir, Lanvin, Zandra Rhodes, Bill Gibb and Ossie Clark to name but a few. They’ll be some NEW traders for you to discover too among our fabulous roster starting with Cleo Vintage offering uber cool 70’s and 80’s womenswear and accessories with a penchant for cuts, tailoring, prints and knitwear. Audra’s Brooches offering antique and vintage brooches from the 1880s-1980s and anything else you can pin, clip or fasten so that includes hair accessories, suit wear and earrings. Audra enjoys finding interesting objects to be used to display her unusual items which are all available to purchase too. Alamode Vintage Boutique are coming up from Herne Bay for the day with vintage womenswear, accessories and textiles dating from Edwardian to 1970s. We’ve had a sneaky peak and they’re bringing some really pretty pieces exclusive to our fair just perfect for the summer months. Clarendon Vintage are coming down from Leicester with a carefully curated collection of womenswear, menswear, textiles and accessories dating from 1900s through to 1980s exclusive to our Summer Fair. Lot’s of great prints and 50’s swimwear! Only antique and vintage fine clothing, accessories and jewellery can be found on Rebecca Tomlinson‘s stand specializing in 19th Century, 20th century and fashion forward early 21st century pieces. High Society has the ultimate festival wear with a focus on prints and ethnic pieces whilst The Old Watch Company brings classic timeless wrist watches for him and for her. What’s new? We welcome Heather Mchale, founder of Silky Drawers to our fair. Heather will be showcasing some of her beautiful vintage lingerie collection whilst giving your new vintage wardrobe some nifty nip n tucks. Heather McHale, lingerie designer-maker and vintage re-styler created the Silky Drawers clothing brand. Her unique handmade garments and party pieces embrace Slow Fashion with zero waste. Designs, aiming for comfort, relaxation and celebration. An early influential design success was a purchase by Rock Legend Courtenay Love! Heather will be on hand to make sure your new vintage purchases from the fair fit like a glove with her on-the-spot alterations service. Our Spring fair is upon us just in time for your new season wardrobe! So get ready to peruse over 50 traders in the stunning Freemasons’ Hall this Sunday offering fashion, accessories and textiles from 1900s-1990s.

Inside our stunning NEW home in the heart of Covent Garden we have returning traders, many of which have been with us since the very beginning and new traders ready with the latest additions to your wardrobes.

Meet our NEW traders and see our top pick of gorgeous spring dresses heading to our fair on Sunday. From Edwardian lawn dresses to 20’s flapper dresses, Biba, Bus Stop, Ossie Clark, Mary Farrin and more…

Nataliya Cumming’s joins us for the very 1st time with antique and vintage handwoven textiles, womenswear & menswear from Ukraine. These beautiful embroidered linen dresses will be among her collection curated especially for our fair as well as antique sheepskin coats, blouses, shirts, knitwear and textiles for your home. Nataliya also organizes wonderful bespoke tours with a textile twist to Ukraine where you can experience the life, culture and traditions through food, nature, music, folklore, art and craft giving you a really authentic taste of their rich cultural heritage. Embroidered Linen Dresses

Next up on our roster of traders is Alison Mills who returns to our fair this Sunday with a well coveted collection of vintage womenswear & accessories from 1920’s -1970’s along with designer labels from Christain Dior to Courreges, Thierry Mugler, Jean Muir and other British design for 60s & 70’s fashion. We welcome Alison back this weekend after a short sebatical and look forward to browsing this stand full to the rafters of iconic and collectible pieces.

Vintage trader and collector S K Vintage stalled out on Camden Passage for years before opening her shop in Kentish Town. Sarah returns to her love of markets and fairs this month joining our family of traders for our spring fair with a well curated selection of womenswear and accessories covering all eras focusing on great prints at affordable prices.

”The worlds most stylish vintage eyewear from the late 1950s through to the early 90’s” Yep! Finally Ed and Sarna Vintage Eyewear leave their virtual shop to stall out at London’s leading vintage fair with iconic frames for the fashionistas. Peruse over 200 styles this Sunday. There really will be something for everyone like these

1980’s Anglo American La Scalas

Dreamy florals… 1930’s Harrods floral silk and chiffon two piece. Perfect for wafting around in at this summers garden parties or Port Elliot festival. One of our regular traders and stylist to the stars, Frank Akinsete returns this Sunday will rails of pretty from all four corners of the globe.

Medley Bazaar will have all the colours of spring on their rails starting with this line up of designer labels: Cacharel, Bernard Freres and YSL. A favourite with stylists, collectors and fashionistas with a passion for fabulous prints. They’ll be some fab Diane Freis coming too…

The much loved Viva Vintage Jewl has been trading at our fair since we launched nearly 10 years ago. Founder, Nicky Press will be bringing these 80’s shoulder dusters by designer Malcolm Morris to our Spring fair this Sunday along with lot’s of pretty stirling silver rings and Deco delights.

Carefully curated genuine vintage fashion, restored to it’s former glory so you can have a wardrobe as individual as you are… Honeykins Vintage are back with some fun, colourful, printastic vintage silhouettes including this cherry blossom embroidered bomber jacket with stripe cuffs…perfect to pop over this seasons vintage boiler suit!

A myriad of colours and prints on these beautiful silk scarves. Gisela Barrington returns to our fair on Sunday after a short sebatical with lots of fresh stock for your Spring wardrobe. Expect to find womenswear, accessories, textiles and trimmings…

This beautiful French organza dress will be among many more on London Vintage stand. Founder Sarah Horrillo returns to our fair fresh from her recent buying trip in France with rails of fabulous prints, maxi dresses and Dioresque ball gowns.

Another long standing trader and favourite among design teams, collectors and dealers is Maycottage Prints offering womenswear from 20’s & 30’s lame jackets and shawls to flapper dresses, blouses, accessories and kimonos like this beautiful sky blue one. Make sure you find time to browse this stand on Sunday!

Stylist, antique and vintage dealer Rebecca Sweeting offers fashion, accessories, textiles and trimmings from as early as the 1830s to 1930s. This exquisite 20’s organza raspberry ruffles dress will be among her collection curated especially for this Sunday’s fair

Chichirara’s Vintage Shop will be rocking up all the way from East Dulwich with lot’s of vintage and pre-loved designer pieces. Expect to find quirky one-off  gems as well as on-trend pieces. Founder Heather Johns has a real eye for design and detail.

Lest not forget the boys… There will plenty of menswear from Simply Vintage, Paulo Portobello, The Market Cartel, Frank Akinsete, June Nevin and Molly Hopkins from WW1 memorabilia to tour jackets, 1930’s duffle coats, Mod gear, Americana and French workwear.

March Fair Preview

March Madness! Spring is nearly here which means it’s time to clear out our closets, Mothering Sunday is coming up and the first 10 customers get ‘2 for 1 entry’ to our next fair on Sunday 3rd March; do you need more reasons for you and your friends to top up your wardrobe at Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair this weekend?! Well, probably not, but we certainly have lots more to tell you about!

If you missed our February fair, you missed out on AMAZING one-off vintage and designer labels at affordable prices. Design houses, film wardrobe, stylists, celebrities, journalists and bloggers came together with the capital’s vintage lovers scoring pieces from the Victorian era right through to the 1990s street wear and couture. Designer labels included Dior, Chanel, Ossie Clark, Biba, Burberry and more, with plenty of fresh stock arriving for March in time for a mid season wardrobe overhaul.

Expect to find womenswear, menswear, accessories, textiles and trimmings with prices starting at £5 to over £100 there will be something for everyone!

A few new names join our roster of cherry-picked, quality traders serving you womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles. First up on our list is Shelley Dukes of Atelier Archive Vintage with womenswear from 1930’s to 1970’s with a penchant for 60’s & 70’s styles and prints. This will be their 1st London fair in many years so look out for their collection.

Molly Hopkins of Vintage Relics has been trading for over 20 years on the festival circuit as well as fairs further afield offering womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles dating from Victorian era through to 1970’s. We welcome Molly to our family of traders adding to the eclectic mix of styles spanning decades of fashion.

Alongside her is Mike Forman of The Vintage HQ with menswear & womenswear from 1940’s to 1980’s with occasional pieces from other eras selected by label, uniqueness and age.

Looking for womenswear and accessories from 1950’s -1970’s? Claire Burgett joins our fair for the 1st time all the way from Brussel’s Design Market with Cilla’s Vintage. Expect to find lot’s of bold prints and unusual details on handbags, scarves and jewellery.

On the subject of prints…Fuji Maeda returns to our March fair from her recent buying trip in Japan with a stunning collection of vintage and antique kimono’s.

The Market Cartel‘s stand was mobbed at our previous fair so get there early to pick up one-off vintage menswear and womenswear from 1920’s through to 1980s. They’ve just received a huge shipment of stock from the States all of which will have 1st dibbs at our March fair.

Simply Vintage returns with menswear for men and women. Whether you’re looking for oversized overcoats, tour jackets, 90’s street wear or Military pieces Jack Glover will have you and your beaus wardrobe sorted.

Last but not least on our list of NEW traders is Sara Ibrahim with a well edited collection of womenswear and accessories for the contemporary girl looking for on-trend vintage pieces to mix up with modern finds.

Many of you be will returning to your firm favourites at our March fair like Lady Janes Vintage Bandwagon, Rebecca Sweeting, Cloud Cuckoo Land, London vintage Chichirara Vintage, Medley Bazaar and Luxe Vintage London to name but a few who will have sourced items especially for you.
