We have something very exciting lined up for you at next weekend’s Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair: The Vintage Collections. As well as amazing shopping and our fabulous (and scrumptious) tearoom complete with live music, we’re welcoming Fraubraun’s vintage photo studio!
Part art project, part vintage fashion shop, Fraubraun lets you model her beautiful collection of clothing from a multitude of eras in her photobooth where you click the shutter. You’re the director of your very own shoot to create something uniquely you.
The concept is the vision of Stefanie Braun, a freelance photography curator and consultant. She was previously a senior curator at The Photographers’ Gallery in London’s Soho. As an avid photography fan and a passionate vintage collector, she decided to combine her two loves and launched Fraubraun in 2009.
Her online store sells unique vintage items all year round, modelled, of course, by the beautiful ladies who stop by her pop up studio. As well as private events and hen dos, Fraubraun has also popped up at some the most stylish events around the country including London Fashion Weekend, the V&A Museum’s Friday Lates and Vintage at Goodwood.
We’re proud to be on their next event date on their website which says, “Fraubraun is excited to announce that we will be taking part at the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair. A wonderful fair set in beautiful Finsbury Town Hall, you will be able to browse vintage fashion by 50 exquisite sellers including new additions by Fraubraun. We will also be present with our photo studio, so come and have your picture taken and be a model for us for the day! We look forward to seeing you there.”
We’re looking forward to seeing them too! If you want to start practicing your poses now, get some inspiration from their current stock of photos on their website www.fraubraun.com and their Facebook page.
We’re also looking forward to seeing you next week! The details for your diary are: Sunday 14th September, 11am – 5pm, Old Finsbury Town Hall, Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4RP. Entry costs £4 or £2 for students. Set yourself a reminder on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1qE5j5a.
