Just in time to give your wardrobe a new season overhaul we’re back again in our beautiful Art Nouveau home at The Old Finsbury Town Hall this weekend.
We have more fabulous new traders selling 100% authentic vintage treasures from the 1900s-1980s, a delectable new teahouse taking over our Tearoom des Artists, manicures by Demains Nails and the chance to win a £25 shopping voucher to spend on the day!
1940s pop up tearoom Tea Vintage (http://bit.ly/1dvPpBr) will be serving their scrumptious homemade cakes with a smile. Vintage Tea travels around the South East of England and this summer they’ll be popping up at Glastonbury – so we’re very happy to have them stop by Clerkenwell for the day. The traditional experience is brought to life by Marie and her team who dress the part, serve your afternoon tea on vintage mismatched crockery and make delicious British classics including Victoria sponge and bakewell tart. Why not treat your mum to an early Mother’s Day treat with their Victory lunch for just £10?
Some of our newest traders will be adding yet more expert insight and the crème de la crème of fashion history. Alison Mills has some of the most iconic names of the 20th century on her rails including Norman Hartnell, Pierre Cardin from the space age era, Courréges from the 1960s and 1970s, Balenciaga from 1950s and 1960s and Lilli Ann American classics from 1940s.
Portobello Market trader Sarah Horillo has been giving us a tease of what she’ll be bringing on her Twitter page (http://bit.ly/1lVh3Nm). We’re especially excited for her selection of spectacular metallic evening dresses and dazzling brooches to add a little sparkle to our closet.
Aisling is bringing a fabulous curated selection of monochrome styles from multiple eras – proving that this is one trend that always comes back around.
Former Parisian fashion stylist Chantal Baptiste brings the best of the 1970s and 1980s including designer labels such as Lanvin, Chanel, Dior, Pucci, Missoni and Yves Saint Laurent.
June Nevin has plenty for the boys including suits from 1960s, country casuals and military jackets and trench coats as well as children’s togs and craft materials.
We’re bringing a touch of pampering to the occasion too with Demains Nails, another ideal way to spoil your mum… or yourself! They’ll be crafting cute polka dot, floral and leopard print manicures on visitors to complement your lovely new purchases.
What’s more, join our Facebook event to find out how to win a £25 shopping voucher to spend on the day: http://on.fb.me/1g7eqHX.
See you on Sunday from 11am!
